April 2017 — Words are powerful. Images are powerful. For most of my life and artistic career, I’ve has marveled at the power of words and images, to inform us, to uplift us, to give us beauty, to make us aware, to sadden us, to hearten us, to unite us, to spur us to change ourselves and our communities. Words and images are both intimate and personal, and public and ubiquitous. Sometimes we focus on them, but often we ignore them, they just keep coming, and we tune them out. Use Your Words is meant to reintroduce us to the power of words, of images, of ideas — to change us and to change the world.

November 8, 2014 — Third annual Art All Day open studio and creative space tour. Over 1,000 people attended, coming out to see the work of over 80 artists in 29 spaces throughout the city of Trenton. Stay tuned for Art All Day 2015, on the second Saturday of November.

February 2013 — Some of my See Words installed at the Windows of Soul public art project in Trenton make a splash on the cover of the Trenton Downtowner’s February issue, illustrating a story on the S.A.G.E. Coalition. Good piece and much deserved focus on an organization which is one of Trenton’s bright artistic lights.

 January 2013 — In excellent company participating in this group photography show at 219 Gallery in Trenton (opens Jan. 11, on view through Feb. 1). Exhibiting a video installation of black and white street photographs I took in Trenton back in the 1990s.

December 2012 — Created a basic media campaign for Bray Gallery in Lambertville, NJ (202 N. Union St.) publicizing their winter show. Featuring work by painters Joseph Bottari and Malcolm Bray, and photography by Andrew Wilkinson. Show’s up through January 6, check it out, excellent art.

November 10, 2012 — Art All Day in Trenton had a successful debut, with studios and public art featured throughout Trenton, followed by a great group show and reception at Artworks. Stay tuned for next year, Saturday, November 9, 2013.

September 2012 — Several of my See words were installed on East Hanover Street in Trenton as part of Windows of Soul, a lovely and uplifting permanent art installation curated and created by Sage Coalition.
